![]() ![]() I deleted the rule to move certain messages into a folder I had named "AT&T", but first moved all those messages to my regular inbox in Apple Mail. Maybe the current Apple Security Update? Anyhow, it seems that now Yahoo Mail won't let you name a folder with the ampersand (&) in it on Apple Mail. It, like many other users have reported, started recently. I also have had the same issue with Yahoo Mail. I don't know what to do anymore and I'm seriously thinking of changing to Gmail and order new business cards with a new e-mail address. I thought I'd try changing the folder structure on my webmail, cause I can still move mails in webmail (it just is not as easy to use as Mac Mail when it's working properly), but now Yahoo mail won't let me change the names of the folders. The problem is that this is my business e-mail account and I get a lot of e-mails every day which I now can't organize and I'm kinda starting to lose track of my stuff and what I still need to do. I've tried rebuilding / synchronizing and nothing works. Now emails in the folders that were being problematic won't even show up on my Mail. I get that when trying to move an email from inbox to another folder.Įvery now and then I seem to be having issues with Yahoo mail on my Mac and if I can't figure it out and resolve it I usually delete the account from my Mac Mail and put it back in, which most of the time resolves the issue.Īfter a few days of dealing with the problem, I decided to delete the account from Mail and put it back in. The error I get is: The IMAP command “UID COPY” (to folder ".") failed for the mailbox “INBOX” with server error: UID COPY Mailbox name(s) contains invalid characters. Ever since a few days ago I can't move e-mail to folders anymore on my Mac (version iOS X 10.7.5). ![]()
